We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled scientist to join our research team. This position provides an opportunity to work with cutting-edge genomics technologies and contribute to CD Genomics' goal of advancing genomics research and accelerating biotechnology applications. The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing and executing sequencing projects, product development of next-generation sequencing platform and related reagents, and assisting the marketing and sales departments in technical support.
Basic Qualifications |
• MSc in oncology, pathology, cellular and molecular biology, genetics, genomics, or related fields • More than 5 years of genomic research experience, and experience in the construction and use of the next-generation sequencing platform • Good communication and cooperation skills and learning ability • Experience in management preferred |
Key Responsibilities |
• Responsible for the management and implementation of the sequencing projects on the Illumina/ PacBio SMRT/ Oxford nanopore platform • Responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing standard work procedures on a wide range of molecular biology techniques related to Next Generation Sequencing • Responsible for product development of next-generation sequencing platform and related reagents • Assist marketing and sales departments in technical support |

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join us. As a member of the team, this position requires you to help identify and nurture opportunities with both new and existing customers through outbound and inbound inquires. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation and negotiating skills, and a solid knowledge base in genomics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and business development of services and products.

Key Responsibilities |
• Serve as key client contact for assigned projects, build relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction, operational excellence and thereby increase the potential for repeat business • Prioritize customer requests to provide technical information and help to troubleshoot via phone and emails and customer follow-up • Utilize scientific skills to provide product-related education to customers and help to identify potentially non-conforming products based on available data • Contribute to updating scientific content on the company website such as posters, product datasheets, and web tools • Identification of potential new products or product lines and attend scientific meetings and trade/vendor shows • Collaborate with relevant departments, prepare and deliver presentations for new business as required • Perform other duties as assigned by management |
