| Product Description: | Norovirus is an envelope-free RNA virus that belongs to the family Cupaviridae and causes acute gastroenteritis. It is one of the most prevalent viruses causing viral gastroenteritis. There is no effective treatment drug available. Noroviruses have five genogroups, and the ones that can infect humans are Norovirus GI, GII and GIV. CD Norovirus (GI and GII) Real-time PCR Kit is used for the quantitative detection of Norovirus genogroup GI and GII in vitro. The primer sequences were designed according to the genome reference sequence provided by the database. For research use only. |
