| Product Description: | Metagenome is the sum of all microbial genetic material in the environment, which contains the genomes of both culturable and non-culturable microorganisms. Macrogenome sequencing is the use of next-generation high-throughput sequencing (NGS) technology to sequence all microbial genomes in the environment in order to study microbial diversity, population structure, evolutionary relationships, functional activities, interactions and relationships with the environment. CD offers custom macro-genome sequencing c reference products, which can contain one or more bacterial and fungal microorganisms, and are available in a variety of product formats such as bacterial fluids and nucleic acid solutions. |
