| Product Description: | Campylobacter is a genus of curved, rod-shaped bacteria that can cause food poisoning and gastroenteritis in humans and animals. It is one of the most common bacterial causes of diarrheal illness in the United States and worldwide. Campylobacter infection can also lead to serious complications such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare disorder of the nervous system. Our kits enable rapid detection b and identification of Campylobacter jejuni (C. jejuni ), Campylobacter coli (C. coli ), and Campylobacter fetus (C. fetus ) based on PCR. Also, to increase the accuracy of the results, the cdtB and cdtC genes are our focus genes. |
